River surveys are primarily used by hydrologists for flood risk assessment.  We can survey cross sections through open watercourses as well as providing detailed structural sections of any bridges or pipelines crossing the channel.

We also undertake topographical surveys of entire flood plains for accurate fluvial modelling which is becoming increasingly important not only in areas known to be at flood risk but also to assess the potential ramifications of proposed developments.
